Squashbot.com

Yet another one of my  business ventures, this logo was a web site and a small T-shirt company my friend and I started.  Below are some of the small markets we sold at. Pasadena was probably one of the best places to take our merchandise, because it was a mini art market and most people just brought painting and drawings to sell there, were as we had, shirts, handkerchiefs and other cool stuff..

Bussiness card

These were my bussiness cards i did when i first graduated, it was done by wood etching and press. I liked them so much i just stuck with them and made way to many. Now after all this time I’m finally out and have to make more. This image is of a painting I did earlier of MMA fighter Forrest Griffin who is one of my favorite UFC fighers, he is notorious for getting really beaten and bloody even in fights he wins, and this is the after math of his fight debut. My instructor at the time insisted I put that image as a etching in wood, and that bastard didn’t let me trace the original drawing onto the wood, just to torment me i guess. Thank David!!

MMA time

I did this for Jim Salvati’s class back at Art Center, he was one of my favorite teachers. Really cool always cheery total laid back surfer dude, and one awesome painter. This assignment was to do a portrait of a celebrity of some sort. So i chose UFC fighter Forrest Griffin (one mf my favorite fighters) This was originally supposed to be a three panel piece, before the fight, and after the fight with a a front view of him as the third panel, but just managed to scan only one panel.

Pancho Skull

So I’m finally starting to post work after all this time, and i guess i will start with an old piece from before I graduated. I was really into drawing and painting skulls as well as working on my own little comic/graphic novel based on Pancho Villa.
